only bright spot: the nice ladies at the reception and proximity to the metro. you can get everywhere in madrid.
hotel: incredibly noisy. you can hear every fart of the neighbour, even normal conversations of the neighbour do not let you sleep. doors close loudly, especially annoying when the neighbours are night owls or early risers. equipment: life-threatening, handle in the bathtub comes off the wall - completely unacceptable. carpet in the room very stained. breakfast: catastrophic, coffee machines, where queues regularly form, especially when the big machine stopped working during the last days. scrambled eggs, sausages are not refilled even on demand half an hour before the end, boiled eggs are cold and hard, fruit selection very limited, vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers or similar are missing completely. the three always same sorts of sausages are refilled only after request. one of the waiters does not come up with clearing and refilling.

I booked without breakfast. It's not the first time I've stayed at this hotel either. But if I need one in Madrid and do not necessarily want to book in the centre, it is still my absolute first choice in Madrid! For this price range, the rooms are above average in size, spacious and very practically furnished. Large wall closets, large table, two additional armchairs, a large mirror in front of the exit, heating and air conditioning individually adjustable by the guest, TV, free wifi, minibar and safe also available. The bathroom is large, with bright, very beautiful marble tiles.
In my opinion, the only thing that is not optimal: in the big and bright beautiful bathroom, there is no room for utensils for body care and cosmetics.

The breakfast offered a large selection of breads and cold cuts every morning. Thin pillows made sleeping uncomfortable at times.

Large, comfortable room, well equipped bathroom, plenty of storage space, clean and well heated. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is quite a long way from the metro station and in an area with few facilities. It takes some time to get to the city centre.

It's in a quiet spot. We enjoyed easy access to the metro. The breakfast was nice, and the staff were really accommodating.
We did run into an issue with the internet. One of my friends couldn't get Wi-Fi in her room despite reporting it multiple times, quite frustrating .

Overall, everything's pretty good. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, large breakfast, with a choice of sweet or savoury. Very friendly staff and availability of parking outside without any problem. It is very well separated by car on the street, the area is very quiet and parking on the street is free. We save the 11 Euros charged by the hotel for private parking. Perhaps there is a missing establishment to alternate in the vicinity, although at about 400 meters and we started to find restaurants and bars everywhere. The Alsace metro stop on the rose line connects to Sol in 20 minutes and bends over 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel (seriously, it's right next door, you can see it from the hotel), and there's a shopping centre 4-5 minutes away.
Maybe the elevator was too slow.

would definitely book again
Room was super spacious with a comfy bed, a mini fridge for snacks, and kettle for tea/coffee. The bathroom had a bath and a bidet. Loved the quiet street view. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying with good choices. There's a fitness center too, and the metro is right around the corner.

Nice people at the reception. Near to a metro station, that takes you to the centre in 15 minutes.
The temperature of the bath water wasn't stable.
